Free Cinema Director add-on for SALSA with RandomEyes

Be sure to install the SALSA with RandomEyes and Cinema Director Assets into your project before importing this addon. This addon includes a comprehensive example scene that demonstrate many of the actions available. Once installed, the example scene can be found in the following folder:

 
  • Crazy Minnow Studio -> SALSA with RandomEyes -> Third Party Support -> Cinema Director -> Scenes

All SALSA with RandomEyes actions can be found under: 

 
  • Actor Track Group -> Actor Track -> SALSA with RandomEyes

All of the key SALSA with RandomEyes public API methods have a corresponding Cinema Director Action. Please reference the Classes, Methods, & Properies section of the SALSA with RandomEyes manuals for more information. The manuals can be found here:

 

In addition to the core actions, we have also included the following custom actions to improve the Cinema Director workflow when using SALSA with RandomEyes:

 

  • Re3D_SetGroup  (Actor Track Group -> Actor Track -> SALSA with RandomEyes)
    • Enable or disable complex facial expression shape groups. (Groups must first be setup in RandomEyes3D)
  • Re3D_SetGroupDuration  (Actor Track Group -> Actor Track -> SALSA with RandomEyes)
    • Enable complex facial expression shape groups for a specified duration.  (Groups must first be setup in RandomEyes3D)
  • Salsa2D_SetAudioClip (Actor Track Group -> Actor Track -> SALSA with RandomEyes)
    • In addition to setting the audio clip, this action includes a checkbox to play the new clip.
  • Salsa3D_SetAudioClip (Actor Track Group -> Actor Track -> SALSA with RandomEyes)
    • In addition to setting the audio clip, this action includes a checkbox to play the new clip.
  • CM_FindRuntimeActor (Director Group -> Global Track -> Crazy Minnow Studio)
    • Allows Cinema Director to work on runtime instantiated actors. Link the [ActorTrackGroup] from your runtime character's Actor Track, enter your characters runtime name in the [Actor Name] field, and make sure this Action is fired before any SALSA or RandomEyes actions are fired on this actor.
