For those of you that have been following our recent attempt to update SALSA with RandomEyes to version 1.2 on the Unity Asset Store, you've seen our pain and frustration with the process. As a potential Unity Asset Store customer, we would like to know your thoughts on purchasing direct from Crazy Minnow Studio via a reputable payment processor, such as PayPal via a service like SendOwl.

We believe that offering a choice of purchasing assets in this manner has a couple of benefits for those who chose to purchase directly from us. We will have more flexibility with the timing of sales and promotions as well as getting updates deployed and available in a more timely manner. Of course, we realize this purchasing method would not be for everyone and there are a couple of potential drawbacks. The asset would not be visible in your asset library within the app, nor from the online web store. And once purchased via one method, the asset would only be available via that method.
